Winter is almost here and there is no better way to warm up than with a delicious curry from Indian Palace, in Carlyle Street, Napier.
New owners, K Prasad and G Singh, hold 15 years experience in restaurants and having won an award in India for curry, are looking forward to offering customers the finest Indian cuisine, including a fantastic selection of beef, lamb, seafood, chicken, goat and vegetarian dishes.
\"I served a three-year apprenticeship in India, working in five-star hotels, before coming to New Zealand in March 2005,\" K Prasad says. \"I worked in a small restaurant in Invercargill before moving to Napier and working for Master of India, for 2 and a 1/2 years, before deciding to go into business.\"
G Singh also trained as a chef in India and worked in five-star hotels before joining the team at Master of India. Both he and K Prasad know what the customer wants in a great Indian meal, combining the best of spices, textures and flavours for a truly memorable dining experience.
\"We have a popular lunch menu, which comprises curry, rice and garlic naan bread for just $10,\" K Prasad says. \"That is good value and is available from Monday to Saturday, 11.30am-2pm.\"
\"We are also open for dinner from 5.30pm until late, seven days a week, and we encourage our regular customers to try new dishes from the menu. All the customer favourites are there but, in the next two weeks, G Singh will be traveling to India, to find new and delicious recipes - so there are some wonderful surprises in store!\"
Don't wait - head for Indian Palace today and experience this taste bud treat for yourself. You will find them at 29 Carlyle, Street, opposite Woolworth's supermarket, or call 835 0314 for a booking. |
